FIRST SEMESTER (below)....SECOND SEMESTER (above)

MIDTERM EXAM PREPARATION

The Science exam will be based on Chapter 14 Quiz, Chapter 15 Test, Chapter 16 Section 1 Quiz, Chapter 16 Test, and Chapter 17 Test.

(All tests/quizzes have been returned to the students.)

The questions will not change, but the order of the answers will.

The questions will be chosen and written at random so not all of one chapter will be grouped together.

Each student is allowed a "yellow bellied" cheat sheet that s/he can write anything on as long as it is handwritten and only on ONE side.

If the student loses the cheat sheet before the exam,

another will NOT be given to him/her!

room but now are convinced should be included in your category of "science"?

(For example...and you may use this since you checked the website...MAGIC)

**************************************************

Purpose: This year we will be working on how to think like scientists. The most important device you need to bring to class is your curiosity! Science is all about questioning the world we know, deciding what we believe, and searching for answers...remember that science is changing at every moment, and you could be just the person to discover something new. It is about asking the right questions...not having all the answers!

Our textbook for Physical Science is Glencoe Science Level Blue.

     /files/Stringer Folder/Middleschool Homework/photo(2).jpg            /files/Stringer Folder/Middleschool Homework/photo.jpg

Students will get an introduction to chemistry and physics. Specifically, we will be covering topics concerning chemical building blocks, electricity, magnetism, motion, forces, energy, sound, and light.
