lang. struc. period 1: Continue to practice Star Words and fluency (Sludge). Fluency will be evaluated Thursday, 20 November when we go to the computer room. Write sentences with the following appositive phrases: frogs, slimy amphibians angel pie, a chocolate dessert, Dr. Lee, the principal, You do not have to begin the sentences with these phrases, but you must KEEP THE PHRASE together or you won't write an appositive.
lang. struc. period 3: Continue to practice Star Words and fluency (Olive). We have only 2 prefixes for Friday's test: the a- family (ac-, ad-, af-, ag-, al-, an-, ap-, ar-, as-, at-) and the i- family (il-, im-, in-, ir-). Tomorrow, 19 November, your class will meet with periods 2 and 4 for a read-in of Tangerine. Language structure will not meet tomorrow.
