2. "Walk the Wall" piece from Drafts - be ready to share and explain your revision.

1. WR - pp. 21-25 for 1st period; pp. 26-30 for 3rd period

3. Star Words and RT, sc. 5-8 of Madhouse - calendars signed for five practices each.

Additional points for students who can identify every part of speech in the following sentence by coloring it with a colored pencil according to the key below.

           When the blue smoke of brittle leaves was in the air, and the wind blew the wet laundry stiff on the line, I decided to come back home.

Social Studies - all classes

1. Wednesday, 11/19 - North American map test - learn locations of the 17 countries on the handout. 

2. Students continue to work on their America's Expansion projects in class, and should follow these class goals:

  • By Monday, 11/17 - Class activities should be complete. Those who are not will be assigned to stay on Tuesday in ASSH to remain until the project is finished.
  • By Tuesday, 11/18 - Students should be prepared to begin presentations today. Presenters will be chosen randomly.
